Cleansing

Cleansing

How to cleanse your face properly? The alternative to washing your face with water.

Instead of washing your face in the morning with water, try the cleansing technique. In fact don't try it, DO IT! This is the most important technique for anyone with facial eczema.

Eczema sufferers tend to be reluctant about washing their faces with water and with this technique there is nothing to worry about. Your face will feel fresh in the mornings and you can do it before you go to bed if you want to refresh your face after a long day.

Why do I need to cleanse my face?..wouldn't it be easier to put the cream on with hands?

No, you should not use your hands to put cream on your face. You should only put cream on your body with your hands. Your hands collect a lot of dirt and the facial skin absorbs this easily than your body skin. This can make your skin worse. Cleansing your face will collect the dirt and moisturize your skin at the same time.

There are a few products that are very good at cleansing your face. Here are my favorites in order:

  1. Oilatum Face Repair Cream
  2. Medihoney Moisturising Cream
  3. Allergenics Cream

Sections:

1.Forehead

2.Left cheek, and left eye

3.Right cheek, right eye

4.Round your mouth and chin

Cleanse each section in order.

This is the order of each section you need to cleanse. Your probably thinking why do I need to do this in order, isn't it just a case of putting the cream on a cotton wool pad and cleansing the face? No, if you don't do this properly, you won't gain the maximum benefits. Okay then, let's begin cleansing.

Step by step guide on how to cleanse your face?

  • First of all you need to apply a pea size amount of moisturising cream on a cotton wool pad for the first section.
  • Pat the pad all over the first section on your face, until you have little white dots of cream everywhere.
  • Wipe your skin gently from left to right until the cream disappears completely and repeat for sections 2-3-4.
