Bath Oil

When was the last time you had a bath? Are you reluctant to have a bath?

Eczema sufferers tend to be very reluctant about having a bath because they think their skin will dry out if they wash too often. This doesn't have to be the case if you use a bath oil like Oilatum Bath Formula , which can reduce inflammation and itchiness.

Why use bath oils?

Oilatum Bath Formula works with the water to rehydrate and cleanse the skin. This is very important! if you don't use any bath oils you will strip away the natural oils from your skin.

How often should I have a bath?

You should have a bath 2-3 times a week, for 10-15 minutes each. If you bath to often your skin will gradually dry out.

What should I do after I've had a bath?

Dry yourself immediately after you've had a bath, remember to pat dry your skin and don't rub aggressively. After that, apply ointment (Vaseline) gently to trap the moisture in your skin. Don't wash your face when your in the bath, in fact never wash your face with water. You should only use creams to cleanse your face.

Which Bath Oil should I use?

Oilatum Bath Formula is the only bath oil you can rely on.

You can use a Crystal Bath Ball Dechlorinator if your allergic to Oilatum products. Crystal Bath Ball Dechlorinator turns Chlorine into Zinc Chloride, to make water you bath in harmless.
