I read The Eczema Solution about two years ago and I always think back to this book as the start of eliminating my eczema. Sue Armstrong tells you how to stop scratching and gives you a six week plan to follow.
The book is simple, short and easy to follow. You really feel Sue Armstrong has a real understanding of the emotional side of living with eczema. I wish I'd would have known about some of the things in this book years ago, could have saved me a lot of hassle.

Plus: The plan is very constructive and involves you tallying how many times you scratch with a tally counter, identifying which parts of the day you scratch the most. She tells you how to control the itch during these periods, ways to avoid scratching and how to cope with the emotional side of living with eczema.
I didn't even follow this plan properly. I took her advice on how to avoid scratching and how to treat my skin properly. The Eczema Solution is very well written and is an inspirational read. If you do manage to follow the plan your skin will dramatically improve. If you stop scratching your skin can only get better!
Negatives: This book would have been fantastic, if she would have listed foods and other things that cause you to scratch.
