How to wash your face with water?

You can wash your face with water without fear of drying your skin.

Many eczema sufferers with facial eczema have this problem. The water is very hard and will dry out your skin if you don't protect your skin and use a bath emollient. You can cleanse your skin with a cream and a cotton wool pad to wipe away the dirt, but eventually you will need to use water to wash your face and feel refreshed.

Step by step guide:

1) You need to find a good ointment to protect your skin and reduce water contact with your face. I recommend a thin layer of Vaseline, Shea Butter or Repcillin. Apply thinly on your face and splash cold water on your face. The reason behind using cold water is to close your pores, while washing the outer layer of your skin.

2) After you have splashed your face with cold water. You need to get a bath emollient to rub into your face. I recommend Oilatum Bath Formula or Cetraben Bath Emollient. Rinse your face a few times with cold water and then pat dry using a towel.

3) Apply you're chosen ointment on your face thinly and the routine is complete. The shiny glow when using an ointment will disappear after two hours. You need to do this everyday in the evening before bed.

I have found this routine to be the best for washing your face, without worrying if you have moisturized you skin enough to last until the morning. Your face will feel fresh and it avoids clogging up your skin with creams, which feels very uncomfortable.
